The county seat of Henderson County is Athens, TX.

This courthouse was completed in 1914. It has a small dome on the top, barely viewable from the ground level.

Athens is where the first hamburger was made!

All four sides of this courthouse are the same; a very unique style that isn’t seen much. Each side has four columns, angled sides, and staircase leading to an entrance.
