Just southeast of Lubbock is Garza County and the city of Post. This is a typical panhandle town with flat land and wide open spaces. The courthouse was built in 1923 and still serves as the center of county government.

Most small Texas towns still have their old cinema signage in the old downtown area.

Wind energy is big business in the panhandle.

This old house is just off the highway south of Post. How many storms has this house withstood?

Notice the wind turbines in the background and how the field around the house is freshly plowed.

Just south of Garza County.
